Think in actions, not pages

Most business software is organised in pages, and the path between them lives in someone's head. A different starting point: what does someone want to get done – and how do they get there in three or four words?

Owned, not rented

Most companies run on rented software. As building gets cheaper, the software a company runs on can become something it owns – shaped around the company, holding its data, and a base for what comes next.

Unattended

An automation left alone keeps billing into an empty room, or quietly goes unused – and the two silences hide each other. The work that saves it starts after go-live.
